Guidelines
|
- The Buy & Sell is a free service to Collins Community Credit Union members only. You must be a CCCU member to submit an ad. For more information on how you can become a member click on Account and Services.
- All ads must be received before 5:00 p.m. on the last business day of the month. Ads submitted during the month will be available online on the 15th of the following month. If the 15th of the month falls on a weekend or a holiday, it will be available on the next business day.
- Ads must include Name, Member account number and home phone number with AREA CODE included (business numbers or work extensions will not be permitted). Ads submitted without this information will not be printed.
- Ads submitted with items from more than one of the available classifications will be published in the Miscellaneous category.
- No listing will be accepted over the phone.
- Due to space limitations, all members are limited to ad copy of 255 total characters, including spaces per monthly issue of the Buy & Sell. Multiple ads may be submitted but the 255 letters and spaces limitation still applies. Similar ads will only be listed once.
- Collins Community Credit Union reserves the right to reject or edit any ad even if it falls within the 255 character guidelines.
- All ads featuring items for sale or wanted must be personal items only.
- Any ads of a commercial nature, offering items for sale with the intent of making a profit, will not be printed. EXAMPLE: Real Estate, babysitting, daycare, housekeeping, rental properties, firewood, plants or vegetables, etc. Animals may be advertised as Free to a good home. Members listing an animal as "Free to a good home" are encouraged to use due diligence to insure that the animal does indeed end up in a good and safe home.
