Village Merger

3 Things You Need to Know to Prepare for the Merger 

On November 29, 2018, Village Credit Union members unanimously voted to approve a merger with Collins Community Credit Union. Collins will officially welcome the Village staff and membership on Saturday, August 31.

As we transition the Village members into our system there are 3 things you need to know to prepare for the merger weekend.

  1. Beginning at approximately 2:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, August 31, Online Banking, the Mobile App, and the Audio Response Telephone System (ARTS) will be unavailable.
  2. We may experience intermittent system outages causing issues with debit and ATM cards. Please plan accordingly by carrying additional cash and a backup form of payment.
  3. All Collins branches will close at 12:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, August 31. The branches will remain closed on Sunday and Monday for the Labor Day holiday. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 3.
