Collins Community Credit Union Welcomes Jason MacDonald as New President & CEO.
Collins Community Credit Union is excited to announce the appointment of Jason MacDonald as the new President and CEO of CCCU, following a comprehensive and thoughtful search led by a trusted leadership development firm. Jason joins us with nearly two decades of experience in the credit union industry, bringing a wealth of knowledge, a heart for innovation, and a deep commitment to our members and community.
Marsha Schulte, Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Collins Community Credit Union, expressed her enthusiasm for the future under MacDonald’s leadership, stating, "We’re thrilled to welcome Jason to the Collins Community family. Jason MacDonald’s career is marked by a dedication to improving the credit union experience through technology and member-focused strategies. Prior to joining Collins Community Credit Union, he served as Chief Information, Strategy & People Officer for Keesler Federal Credit Union. His leadership also extended to Central Minnesota Credit Union, where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Information Technology.
Reflecting on his new role, MacDonald shared, “I am truly honored to join Collins Community Credit Union and look forward to working alongside the team to keep our members at the center of all we do while actively engaging with the community".
MacDonald’s commitment to leadership extends beyond the workplace. He holds a Master of Arts in IT Leadership from the College of St. Scholastica and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. A lifelong learner, he actively participates in community service and values the importance of making a positive impact wherever he goes.
Jason resides with his wife Sarah, their four children, and two beloved poodles. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, cooking, golfing, and spending time outdoors with his family. His personal passions for family and community mirror the values Collins Community Credit Union holds dear—ensuring that members feel connected, valued, and empowered every step of the way.
