At Collins Community Credit Union, we’re celebrating 75 years of savings. Our story began in 1932 when ham operator Arthur Collins founded The Collins Radio Company. 

 

Soon after, 10 Collins Radio Employees were looking for an alternative to banking, so they established Collins Employees Credit Union in 1940. They believed in the “People Helping People” philosophy which is the Credit Union way of life. 

 

Yesterday, we celebrated our anniversary with our members at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids. We enjoyed food, activities for the kids and watched Big Hero 6 on the big screen. We’d like to say thank you to our entire membership for your support, we look forward to continuing to serve you!
