So many times I hear stories from long time CCCU members, so I thought I’d share mine.

I became a member of Collins Community Credit Union when I was 16, after starting my first job and needing a place to put my paycheck. My dad, a long time CCCU member encouraged me to open an account with the credit union.  I remember getting my ATM card and thinking I was pretty hot stuff.  About a year or so later after building up some savings I decided it was time to buy my first car.  Once again my dad encouraged me to visit the credit union and with him as a cosigner, I became the proud owner of a ‘90 Ford Probe.  Now close to 18 years, a mortgage, and a few car loans later, here I am working for CCCU, who'd have thought?
