Microsoft has acknowledged a security flaw in its widely used Internet Explorer versions 6 - 11 browsers that could put online banking users at risk. This vulnerability affects individual users and not the systems at the Credit Union.
If you are using Internet Explorer, here are a few solutions to protect your account information:
- Use another web browser, other than Internet Explorer. CU Online is compatible with Firefox, Chrome and Mozilla.
- Update your Internet Explorer browser
- Run Internet Explorer in "enhanced protected mode"
- If you are still running Windows XP, you may not get a patch to resolve the issue since Microsoft is longer supporting XP. We encourage members to upgrade to a newer operating system or use an alternate browser.
