Make room in your busy schedule this summer to think of others and give the gift of life. CCCU's North Liberty branch will be hosting a blood drive on Friday, July 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The credit union will provide free lunch for everyone donating, and all donors will be entered for a chance to win one of two $50.00 Visa gift cards. All blood donated at the blood drive benefits the University of Iowa DeGowin Blood Center to help local patients. Cancer patients, surgical patients, premature infants, people being treated for accident and trauma, recipients of marrow and organ transplants, and patients with diseases such as sickle cell anemia and hemophilia all depend on donated blood as part of their care.
CCCU is taking appointments in advance, as well as walk-ins the day of the event. For more information about the blood drive, or to schedule an appointment to give blood, please contact Collins Community Credit Union’s North Liberty branch at 319-626-3123 or email email@example.com.
