The leaves are turning, the air is crisp and fall is definitely here. With fall comes black cats, pumpkins and the Credit Union’s favorite holiday – Halloween.
Each year, Collins Community CU employees work hard to think of creative costume ideas to top what they wore the previous year and scour Google for award-winning pumpkin decorating ideas.
Halloween costumes can be expensive. But, you don’t have to break the bank to have an amazing costume. When it comes to Halloween costumes, the Internet is your friend! Head to Pinterest and look for ideas using stuff you already have at home, or shop the thrift stores in your community.
If you’re looking for warm and safe trick-or-treating fun for the kiddos, visit the Credit Union’s 42nd street location on October 31 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. to trick-or-treat with Kirby the Kangaroo, check out the employees dressed in their Halloween best and to vote for your favorite pumpkin in our pumpkin decorating contest. Last year, the marketing department took second place with our ‘Henry the Turtle’ pumpkin design, and this year, we’ve got a few tricks up our sleeves that’ll rock your socks off. (Shameless plug.)
Here's to a fun and safe Halloween!
