The summer is always a busy time at the Credit Union, so I wanted to keep you in the loop on our latest events and promotions.

Starting today, July 1, through the end of August, you’ll be automatically entered to win a $1,000 Visa® Gift Card when you setup a new goal in Money Meter. To get started, log in to CU Online, click on the Money Meter tab and create a new savings goal. Good luck! Also during the month of July, we’re offering a 75th Anniversary Certificate Special. Don’t wait; take advantage of this limited time offer, today.

Speaking of our 75th Anniversary, we want you to join us for our membership appreciation party on Sunday, July 19 at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids. Members can enjoy free food, fun activities for the kids and a movie on the big screen. We hope to see you there.

Lastly, we invite you to join us on Saturday, July 11 for the Summer of the Arts Free Movie Series on the lawn of the Pentacrest in Iowa City for Spaceballs. Arrive early for pre-movie fun!

And, don’t forget, all Collins Community CU location will be open on Friday, July 3, expect for our 35th Street and Federal Building branches. Then, all locations will be closed on Saturday, July 4. Our Hy-Vee branches will resume normal business hours on Sunday, July 5 and all other locations will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6. We hope that everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend, and make sure to thank a vet!
