Just when I thought I was getting the hang of this “real-world” thing, paying bills, setting a budget, etc., I hit a bump in the road. As I was driving to work one morning I noticed it was extremely difficult to stop. As I had suspected, I needed new brakes. Being new to the area, I asked my boss what mechanic he recommended. It just so happens that this particular place participates in our Debit Deals program.
What is
Debit Deals?
Debit Deals is a free service to CCCU members, which gives you cash back on purchases made at participating retailers. Not only do you get cash back, but a portion also goes to a charity of your choice. If you have a
CCCU debit card, sign up for
Debit Deals! It’s free, and can save you money at participating local merchants.
When I looked at my account this morning on CU Online I was pleasantly surprised to see that my cash back from
Debit Deals this month was $8.86! All I had to do was pay for my purchase using my
CCCU debit card. I didn’t have to fill out any rebate forms or wait for a check to arrive in the mail. My rebate was deposited directly into my account.
